An interactive web mapping application has been developed at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana, to assist the 341st Civil Engineer Squadron's snow removal prioritization and status. Placing GIS editing capabilities in the hands of Pavements/Maintenance allows greater flexibility in planning snow removal priority zones by the Snow and Ice Control Committee, and offers a real-time status update of plowed/unplowed areas available via a web map to the base at large during winter snow events.
